On arrival at Paro airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to nearest hotel. Afternoon visit Paro Dzong (fortress) built in 1646, now serves as government offices and religious institutions, you will cross a traditional wooden bridge on the way to the Dzong and Visit National Museum (Ta-Dzong) just above Paro Dzong, where we have unique collections of ancient armor, textiles, Thangkha paintings. Overnight stay at Paro.
This is a short trek day, we have to take short drive for a 15min. Trek starts with a short climb up to Jele Dzong,and we will climb till we reach camp. If the weather is clear the Paro valley and the snow-capped mountains can be seen. If the caretaker is there you can visit the Dzong. Overnight will be camp near dzong.
Trek Begin with an 11/2 hour climb and passes through a thick alpine forest of rhododendron bushes. Gradually climbs till we reach camp. You may see yak herders around your campsite
The trail follows the ridge. on a clear day we can have clear views of the mountains and river valleys. Our campsite will be near the Lake Jimilangtsho known for their giant sized trout’s.
The trail takes you through dwarf rhododendron trees and passes by the lake of Janetsho. Today you may come across nomadic life of the yak herders. Our campsite will be close to Simkota Lake which is famous for trout fishing
The trek begins with a gradual climb. En route have a spectacular view of Mount Gangkar Puensum, the highest mountain in Bhutan and slowly descend down to Phajoding Monastery, which serves as the View point of the Thimphu valley. Overnight will be at camp.
After breakfast trek downhill to Thimphu valley passing through a dense forest (blue pine) till motor road,where our representative will be waiting and drive you to hotel. After a hot shower have a hot Lunch at Thimphu. Evening freely stroll around town. Overnight will be at Thimphu.
After breakfast Visit Changangkha Lhakhang built in 12th century and considered as important temple for new born babies. Zorig Chusum is a painting school, where students learn the 13 traditional arts and crafts of Bhutan.Memorial Chorten (Stupa) was built in 1974 in the memory of Third King of Bhutan.
Buddha statue sited at Kuensel Phodrang is one of the largest Buddha rupas in the world
Motithang Takin Preserve Late afternoon drive to paro. Overnight stay at Paro
After breakfast drive to paro at a Point, where hike start. Taktsang Monastery is perched on a rocky ledge. It is believed that in 8th century Spiritual Master (Guru Rinpoche) known as the second Buddha in Bhutan, have arrived here flying on the back of a tigress from Singye Dzong in Lhuntse and meditate in a cave for three month where Taktsang Monastery now stands. Evening freely stroll around Paro town and do last minutes shopping. Overnight stay at Paro
After early breakfast drive to the Paro airport for flight to onward destination.
